AS04 is a grey cast cement ventilation block by Apong Stone, a Malaysian manufacturer with plants in Banting and Teluk Panglima Garang (Selangor), Penaga (Penang) and Muar (Johor). Two full-width horizontal louvre slots with splayed reveals divide the face, reading as a stacked pair of deep horizontal openings. Laid in a stacked grid it forms a breathing screen wall for facades, boundary walls, carports, stairwells and courtyard partitions, admitting daylight and cross-ventilation.
